TurboPatch VST (Turbosynth clone)

About

TurboPatch VST is a modern software synthesizer inspired by Digidesign’s TurboSynth, originally released for the Apple Macintosh in 1988. Presented as a TurboSynth-inspired “clone,” it revisits an early chapter in computer-based sound design through a plug-in designed for contemporary music software.

The original TurboSynth offered a graphical, modular approach to creating and processing sounds. Users connected modules into patches, combining sound generators and processing stages to produce samples for playback on hardware samplers. This made it a distinctive tool for experimenting with synthesis and sample manipulation.

TurboPatch brings that historical inspiration to Windows and macOS, with downloads available in VST2, VST3 and Audio Units (AU) formats, including 32-bit and 64-bit Windows VST2 versions.
